Physician Master File

Physician Master File

The Physician form is used to enter all physicians who will be ordering labs into the system. Note that while the NPI field is not marked as required, it will be necessary for insurance billing. A character counter has been added to the address field to show the number of characters entered. Entering more than 55 characters could cause problems with electronic billing. Do not enter the City, State, and Zip Code in the address field—always use the designated fields. From the main menu, select Master Files, then Physicians.

On the right side of the form, you will find four buttons to associate Destinations, Clients, Contacts, and Comments.
