Patients > Update Patient Info Extended

The update patient info extended advanced button will allow the LIS user to update the patient's information to multiple orders, requisitions and standing orders at the same time for specific period of time, this feature will save time since the user will not have to update one record at a time.

Example:

If the patient has multiple orders and the address is incorrect, this feature will update the address for the selected Orders, Requisitions & Standing Orders on a specific Date Range simultaneously.

If the patient address is the only information needing to be updated, uncheck the Use Actual Patient Info box. Enter the correct address in the Street Address field and leave the other Patient Info fields blank. When you are ready, click on apply. The patient address for the date range selected and records selected will be updated.

Follow the steps below to update patient info extended

  1. Click on Master Files
  2. Click on Patients
  3. Click on the update patient info extended advanced tab
  4. When the form opens, from the dropdown enter the desired date range
  5. Select which records need to be updated: orders, requisitions, standing orders or all
  6. Click on the Apply button
  7. Click on Update to save
