Requisition Search

Requisition Search is your command center for finding, filtering, and acting on when it comes to requisitions

The Requisition Search form is more than a lookup. It’s a centralized hub where you can locate any order quickly, surface the right context, and take action without jumping between screens.

Powerful search controls

  • Global and column-level search: Start broad, then refine by specific columns (e.g., Client, Patient Last Name, Requisition, Test).
  • Smart operators per column: equals, not equal, contains, does not contain, begins with, ends with, is blank, between (for dates/numbers).
  • Date shortcuts: Today, Yesterday, Last 7/30/90 days, Custom range.
  • Composite filters: Build complex queries with AND/OR logic and parentheses in the Filter Editor.

Flexible grid and layout

  • Drag-and-drop columns: Reorder to match your workflow.
  • Show/hide columns: Use the column chooser to tailor the view to the task at hand.
  • Grouping: Group by any field-e.g., first by Client, then by Patient Last Name; expand/collapse to navigate large sets.
  • Multi-sort: Sort by multiple columns (e.g., Client A–Z, then Collection Date newest to oldest).

Advanced filtering made simple

  • Filter Editor: Build layered conditions (e.g., Client = “City Clinic” AND Status = “Final” AND (Name= “Doe” OR Bill To = “Insurance”)).
  • Column header filters: Each header doubles as a quick filter box with a picker for operator type.
  • Reusable: Save common values (clients, payers, providers) as quick-pick options to reduce typing errors.

Save and reuse as Custom Views

  • One-click recall: Save any combination of filters, sorts, groupings, and visible columns as a named Custom View.
  • Multiple views: Create task-specific views like “Status” “Billing To,” “Collected By,” “Recollect Needed,” “Specific Tags.”
