Collection Letter History

Use the Collection Letter History form to review past-due invoices for which collection letters have already been sent to patients and to manage reprints or re-queuing.

Aging filters

Choose the aging bucket via radio buttons to display:

  • 30–60 days past due
  • 60–90 days past due
  • Over 90 days past due
  • All (shows all invoices with sent collection letters, regardless of current aging)

Reprint and status management

  • Reprint letters: Select one or more invoices and reprint collection letters with preset notes tailored to the current aging.
  • Mark as Unsent: Requeue selected invoices so they appear again in Pending Collection Letters for printing.

More options

  • Load Patients in Patient Master: Open the patients for the selected invoices in the Patient Master file.
  • Billing Trail: View all transactions associated with a selected invoice.
  • Transaction Summary: Show totals for the selected invoices.
  • Edit Order: Open and edit the associated order.
  • Cases: Associate existing or new cases to selected invoices.
  • Documents: Attach supporting documents to selected invoices.

Idea
Tip: If a patient address is updated or a letter needs correction, mark the invoice as Unsent here, make your edits, then reprocess from Pending Collection Letters.
